AgriFinancing
Fueling Agricultural Growth and Sustainability
Agriculture Loans for Refugees
Patapia's Agriculture Loans are crafted to assist farmers and agribusinesses in accessing the funds necessary for growth and innovation. From getting the money to renting the farm land to investing in equipment, our loans help refugee women cultivate success.
According to current policy, refugees in Uganda are typically given a plot of land measuring 30 meters by 30 meters per household, allowing them to cultivate and build their own homes on the allocated land. Unfortunately, this is often not enough for them to build on and farm enough to generate incomes from.

Key Features
Our AgriFinancing solution comes with several features designed to support refugee farmers.
Specific to various agricultural needs. While having the initial capital is a huge limitation for many refugees, our financing ensures that they have all they need to farm.
We train and encourage the farmers we work with to incorporate sustainable and climate sensitive practices into their farming.
Flexible terms to accommodate harvest cycles. The women only repay the loans once they have harvested and they can repay the loans either through cash or seeds.
To ensure our returns and the growth of the farmers we work with, we connect our farmers to premium markets, enabling them to sell their products at better prices.

Voice AI Training Program
Every Agriculture Loan comes with our voice AI training program, allowing farmers to learn about best practices in agriculture, crop management, sustainable practices, and financial literacy. The farmers interact with our AI through our toll-free line and receive valuable guidance in their local language, ensuring they maximize their agricultural potential.
